Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Filmsicily's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Services Description

Filmsicily provides comprehensive film production services in Sicily, including but not limited to location scouting, equipment rental, crew services, marine unit operations, and production support. All services are subject to availability and proper booking procedures.

3. Booking and Payment

All bookings require a written agreement and deposit as specified in your service contract. Payment terms will be outlined in your production agreement. Late payments may result in suspension of services and additional fees.

• Deposits are typically 50% of the total project cost
• Final payment is due upon completion of services
• Cancellations must be made in writing according to contract terms

4. Equipment Rental

Clients are responsible for the proper care and handling of all rented equipment. Any damage or loss will be charged to the client at replacement cost. Insurance is required for all equipment rentals.

5. Marine Unit Operations

All marine unit operations are subject to weather conditions and sea state. Filmsicily reserves the right to postpone or cancel operations for safety reasons. Clients must comply with all safety protocols and instructions from our marine coordinators.

6. Liability and Insurance

Clients are required to maintain adequate production insurance covering all personnel, equipment, and locations. Filmsicily is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during production unless resulting from our negligence.

7. Permits and Permissions

While Filmsicily can assist with obtaining necessary permits and permissions, the client is ultimately responsible for ensuring all legal requirements are met for their production.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in materials created by Filmsicily remain with Filmsicily unless explicitly transferred in writing. Clients retain rights to their filmed content.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding project details, scripts, and any sensitive production information shared during the course of our engagement.

10. Modifications to Terms

Filmsicily reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any material changes via email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Palermo, Sicily.
